Putting Pants of Philip was a landmark film, the first film to feature the comedy double act Laurel and Hardy as an official team.
In the film Hardy plays Pompous J. Piedmont Mumblethunder who greets his nephew, played by Laurel, from Scotland who arrives in a kilt. He is immediately taken to a tailor for a pair of proper pants.

On 13th November 1968 the premiere of The Beatles’ animated movie Yellow Submarine took place in New York City.
The story, created by Lee Minoff, centres around Pepperland – an underwater music paradise protected by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band.
