Fall Down The Rabbit Hole
As Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, the world is preparing to fill their tea cups, prep the jam (NOT MUSTARD) and follow the white rabbit to Wonderland to commemorate this magical story.
Dreamt up back in the summer of 1862, July 4th to be exact, the tales of Alice, the Mad Hatter, the even madder Queen of Hearts and a pipe weilding Caterpillar have enchanted children and adults alike, for over one hundred and fift years.
To mark this incredible feat, events are taking place around the globe! However, to narrow our search, we have selected a handful of incredible events in and around London that are not to be missed!
Alice's Adventures Underground
Tucked away under Waterloo station, the show curated by Les Enfants Terribles has been described as "the perfect remedy for grown-ups who have forgotten what it is to play". Emmersed in the wonderous underground setting, you'll become part of the magic, eat, drink and be subject to the fearsome Queen! Click the image below for more info and to book tickets. Shows are currently running until the end of August.

To commemorate the infamous boatride that inspired the book, the people of Oxford celebrate Alice Day each 4 July, and 2015's anniversary special is set to give onlookers a real treat! All 12 chapters of the book will be acted out at various locations around the city, with 150 "Alice's" in tow! Members of the public are also invited to play human croquet and take part in the Lobster Quadrille dance! Click here to find out more and watch a video of the dance. Be sure to practice your Lobster moves before Saturday!
