With the 'Wear It Pink' fundraising event for the Breast Cancer Campaign tomorrow, we thought this week's meme would be a perfect addition to the aid in helping women who have suffered with breast cancer.
When photographer Bob Carey’s wife, Linda, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, he decided to take action in an unconventional way.
Dedicating a portion of his life to raising awareness and money for charity, Bob tried to bring happiness and laughter with a series of self potrait photographs of himself wearing a tutu in dozens of different locations.
The Tutu Project was born:
The mission of The Tutu Project™ is to support the fund raising efforts of The Carey Foundation for women with breast cancer. Striving to bring laughter and understanding to a community that has endured far too much.
Capturing the love of fans and gaining media attention from around the world, The Tutu Project has been helping women now for 10 years!
The Tutu Project has various ways that you can support them, including Limited Edition Prints which donate 20% of net sales to the Carey Foundation and postcards that donate 50%.

You can also support the Tutu Project by purchasing The Tutu Project Photographs By Bob Carey calendar for 2014.
