Remembrance Day takes place on the second Sunday of November, or the Sunday nearest the 11th November.
The day is held to commemorate the First World War which ended at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month 1918.
A 2 minute silence is traditionally had at 11am to mark the time and pay respects to all that fought and risked/lost their lives, a tradition put in place by King George V.
In honour of Remembrance Day and to show support for our nation's servicemen, we'd like to share with you two of our charity calendars available for 2014.
This special edition 1940's pin up girl calendar features a selection of the rarest and most popular World War II RAF fighter and bomber aircrafts including the Mk V b spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster, Avro Anson, Bristol Blenheim, Beau fighter and many more. With seasonal settings, historic locations and relative months to famous air raids and turning points of World War II you will certainly be blown away by the new approach on bringing these amazing aircraft back to life.
This is a never seen before concept to the aviation world and the publisher is very proud that they are able to support the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund through the sales of their calendar. The RAFBF is the Royal Air Force's leading welfare charity, providing financial, practical and emotional support to both serving and former members of the RAF.
This calendar is unusual as the publisher appealed for members of the public to audition to become one of our glamorous Pin Up Girls. After careful deliberation, they selected their final 14 - each of whom generously gave up their time to be photographed for the calendar and to support the RAFBF.
The publisher is also greatly indebted to the RAF Museum Hendon, Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, De Havilland Heritage Centre and the amazing Historic Aircraft Collection for allowing them to photograph their aircraft for this calendar. All the aircraft are authentic and some are even still airworthy today.
Auditions will be held for the 2014/15 Pin Up Girl Calendar from October 2013 to January 2014. If you would like to find out more about entering or you are interested in becoming a calendar sponsor, visit pinupcalendar.co.uk

A truly worthy cause to help all those injured in the line of duty.
Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to those who have suffered life-changing illnesses and injuries whilst serving our country.
This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and their Recovery Centres across the UK which will offer support for life.
The money raised by the hugely generous public has been used by Help for Heroeshas been used to support our wounded, but there is still so much more to do.
Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our support tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives.
They are still battling and Help for Heroes will not let them battle alone.
